Dear future Grade 5s

Dear future Grade 5 student

My name is Nathanael. Our Exhibition theme was who we are. Our central idea was: society’s Responsibility is to build a physically and mentally healthy community. My Exhibition topic was about the effects of drugs. I chose this topic because drugs can be really bad and addictive so I wanted to learn more about it. This letter is to give you information and details about Exhibition.

My first piece of advice is to choose topic that you are interested. If you choose a topic you are not interested in then you will not like the research and it might be hard for you.

My second piece of advice is to stay away from groups and friends that you know or else you will have a hard time finishing up your work.

My third piece advice is when you are speaking with adults and answering questions is to give them information so that they are more informed about your topic.

I hope this letter will help you in Exhibition. Choose a topic that interests you, stay away from people who distract and answer adult questions during the showcase.

Sincerely,

Nathanael

Dear Future Grade 5 Students

Dear future grade 5’s,

My name is Lorelei. My topic was music therapy. I chose music therapy because I love music and I love helping people so I chose music therapy. In this letter I will be giving you advice about exhibition that I hope will help you through this tough journey.

My first piece of advice is to stay on task. If you don’t stay on task then you will have PILES of work to do instead of just an amount that anyone could handle. Sometimes I would fool around or argue with my partner but we were very lucky to not fall behind. If you get in a fight with your partner just take some time away from each other and work by yourself. That really helped me. Make sure that you don’t because it’s very hard when you have to do extra work.

My second piece of advice is to do your bibliography when you find a source because if you don’t cite your source then you will have to retrace all of your steps just to find that one website. Me and my partner lost a website without citing our sources and it was a very stressful week for us because that was one of the only things we could focus on. At that time we only had a little bit of research done and we couldn’t do it until we found our bibliography.

My third piece of advice is to practice before your presentation because if you don’t practice then you might mess up. You have to practice what you are going to say but don’t write it down or use a script because then you will look unprofessional and unprepared. Just go with the flow and what you think will be the best thing to say.

My last piece of advice is to Choose a topic that you were very interested in it. If you choose a topic that you aren’t really interested in then you will get bored halfway through exhibition. Don’t choose a topic just because your best friend is going to do it because you might not be interested in it. I was going to do a pollution topic because my friend was doing it but I realize that I wasn’t very interested in it and I would rather do something more creative so I choose music therapy.

I hope this letter helps you through the journey ahead. Remember to stay on task, cite your sources right away, practice your presentation and choose a topic you are interested in.

Good Luck!

Lorelei

My name is Sandra our central idea is an inquiry into the nature of a self belief and values personal physical mental social and spiritual health human relationship including families friends community’s and cultural rights and responsibility what it means to be human. My topic is water pollution and how it affects the bow river watershed. I choose this topic because I wanted to learn more about water pollution and help stop it.

My first piece of advice is to pick a topic you want to do and don’t pick a topic your friends choose because if you choose a topic your friends choose then you and your friends(s)will talk and fool around and not get your work done.

My second Piece of is cooperate with your partner(s) so that you can get along and so you can get your work done rather then arguing because if you argue and don’t work then you will not get your work done and you will have to catch up on all of the work.

My third piece of advice is to site your source right away because if you don’t site your source right a way then you will have to go back and have to find all of your sources and it will take a long time.

I hope this letter helps you during exhibition in working with your partner(s) use your time wisely and not forgetting your information/ sources.

Yours sincerely,

Sandra

Dear future grade fives students.

Hi my name Trey  and our central idea was society responsibility is to build a physical and mentally healthy community and my topic was concussions in sports I chose it because I wanted to bring back some awareness about concussion so kids and adults can be more safe in what there doing I am writing a letter so I can tell you about  exhibition. Here is some advice so you can complete exhibition in a good mood.

1 my first piece of advice is be on task all the time because you will never get stuff done if you are fooling around and also don’t be around your friends because you will get off task and never get research done and research is so hard  also be aware you are because there’s something that will. Attract you to touch or play with and what you are doing find a good spot so you will not get off task.

2 second piece of advice is choose a good topic for you try not to be with your friends  because you will get in trouble if there your best friend and get off task and make sure it’s a  proper topic for you.

3 my third advice is think positive about exhaustion because if you are struggling go take a walk or find your mentor That’s in the school and ask for some help. When you have to research you questions it will get frustrating because you will probably go through ten different sites to find the answer

I hope that this help you out three important things to know about  exhibition

1 don’t get frustrated

2 have a proper action and topic

3 the most important is have fun.

Sincerely Trey Johnson.

Hello My name is Nooren,Our Central idea was Society’s Responsibility is to build a physically and mentally healthy community. My topic for Exhibition was Water Pollution and how it affects the Bow River Watershed.

My first piece of advice is pick a topic that you are passionate about not a topic your friend wants. Because your going to learn about that topic for 10 weeks and if your not interested in that topic it’s going to be boring and hard. But if you pick a topic you like it’s going to be fun even without your friends.

My second piece of advice is that you stay focused and stay on task. If you don’t further on you are going to struggle because your going to be left behind and being left behind on one thing in exhibition is a big deal it will affect you a lot.

My last piece of advice is that when it’s showcase time make sure to speak loud and clear so you look and sound confident also always keep eye contact with everyone so that you look interested and it will keep the audience interested. Lastly don’t fidget because if you fidget you will look like your nervous and don’t know your topic perfectly.

I hope that my feedback will help you throughout exhibition.

Make sure to pick a topic you like, stay on task, speak loud and clear keep eye contact and don’t fidget.

Best wishes from Nooren

Hello my name is Elton, our central idea was society responsibility is to build a physically and mentally healthy community. My topic was clean water and sanitation I chose this topic because it was interesting. I’m writing this letter to help you during exhibition.

My first advice is not looking at the poster or look at each other when adults and kids are standing.

My second advice is speak louder when we do are presentation.

My third piece of advice is to not sit on shelves or desk during exhibition because the adults and kids won’t like that. It doesn’t look professional.

I hope you have read my advice and will use it during exhibition.

Sincerely

Dear Future Grade 5 Students,

Hello My name is Kamryn, Our Central idea was Society’s Responsibility is to build a physically and mentally healthy community. My topic for Exhibition was Water Pollution and how it affects the Bow River Watershed.

My First piece of advice is pick a topic YOU want to do. Don’t pick what your friends want because it is 9 weeks and if you don’t like your topic it is going to be a long 9 weeks. Also you can get into fights with your friends or friend and maybe ruin your friendship.

My second piece of advice is use your time wisely because we only have 9 weeks and that’s not a lot of time to do all lot of work that you have to do in Exhibition. Also Exhibition has a lot of preparing.

My last piece of advice is once you get your information cite your sources right away because if you don’t you will probably forget where you got the information from and if you don’t cite your sources you can get in trouble.

I hope that this letter will help you with Exhibition remember pick a topic that YOU want NOT your friends want, Use your time wisely and cite your sources right away.

Good Luck,

Kamryn

Dear Future Grade 5 Students

Dear Future Grade 5 Students,

Hi my name is Alexis. Our central idea was Society’s responsibility is to build a physically and mentally healthy community. My topic was Preventions And Solutions to Air Pollution. I choose my topic because I have always wondered what are some preventions and solutions to air pollution. In this letter I will be giving you some advice about Exhibition.

My first piece of advice is to stay on task. It is very important to stay on task because if your whole group is not on task then you will never get any work done. Whenever my group was off task we would not get any work done one day and then we would have to do tons of work the next day.

My next piece of advice is to get along with your group members. It is very important to get along with your group members because if you are arguing with your group members the whole time you will never get any work done. For example my group would argue sometimes and then we would end up not getting any work.

My final piece of advice is to cite your sources. It is very important to cite your sources because then you will have to go back and find out where you got your information from which will take up time you could be doing other important things like researching. My group had that problem and we ended up having to go back to find out where we got our information from which took up time we could have been researching.

I hope this letter helps you through your Exhibition journey. Remember to always stay on task, get along with your group members, and always cite your sources the first time.

Sincerely,

Alexis

Dear Future Grade 5’s

Dear future grade 5 students,

Hi my name is Ali. our central idea is Society’s responsibility is to build a physically and mentally healthy community. My exhibition topic was water pollution and how it affects the bow river. I chose this topic because I felt bad for people that don’t have access to clean water, and I wanted to make a change. In this letter I will be giving you advice for exhibition.

My first piece of advice is to pick a topic that you want not your friend, because if you choose a topic that your friend wants then your not passionate about it and you and your friends relationship could spread apart.

My second piece of advice is to use your time wisely and don’t fool around with other groups because me and my group were talking to other groups and then in the middle of exhibition we realized that we didn’t have any more time to fool around and talk with other groups, then we started using our time wisely.

My last piece of advice is to always site your sources and try to put information in your own words because if you don’t site your sources and you say that it’s your information then you could get in big trouble, try to put it in your own words so that you can explain it better.

I hope this letter helps you during exhibition in working on picking a topic that your interested in, using your time wisely, and siting your sources.

Best wishes,

Ali

Dear Future Grade 5’s

My name is Caenumon S and I’m writing to you for PWEX (PWE Exhibition) so you can do well since this is a big project. Our Central Idea is “Society’s Responsibility Is To Build a Physically and Mentally Healthy Community”. My topic was Drug Affects I choose this topic because I was interested and inspired by last years Drug Affect topic because I was interested in learning of the bad and good effects.

My first piece of advice is use your time wisely this is most likely the most important part of exhibition even though it seems like a long time you have a certain amount of time to do research, interviews, questions, showcase and presentation in about 9 weeks you have to do all of that so use your time wisely.

My second piece advice is that talk to your group only this is because my group (Including me) started talking to other groups this also connects to my first advice and when you talk to other groups you start falling behind and don’t get things done.

My third piece of advice is stay focused because if you fooling again you don’t get thing you need to do done and If not done your presentation could be pretty bad but if you stay on task you will be good in your presentation.

I hope this letters help you in exhibition remember
Use your time wisely, talk to YOUR group and stay focused.

Best Of Luck

Caenumon.S
