What is the biggest challenge you faced during the process of Exhibition?
The biggest challenge was probably research because a lot of the websites we found didn’t have any information we could use.
How did you work to solve or overcome that challenge?
We got some interviews and they answered all our questions and finished in time for us to make our artistic piece.
What have you learned about yourself since being involved in Exhibition?
I learned that I can work with other students that I don’t usually work with also someone that is not my best friend and stiff get my work and research done in time.
What was the most important, interesting or meaningful aspect of Exhibition for you? Why?
The most important thing is for our action we are donating dog and cat stuff to ARRCS and it makes me feel happy that I know all the stuff is helping dogs and cats in the shelter. The more cats and dogs that are heathy means the more dogs and cats cane be adopted and trained to be therapy animals.
What would you do differently, or be more mindful of if you could experience Exhibition again?
I would be more mindful of my time because you don’t have a lot of time you think 10 weeks is long but when you are doing exhibition it feels like only 5 weeks.
What advice and suggestions would you like to give to the students who will work through Exhibition next year?
You should pick a topic you like not that your friends liked because you have to research this for 10 weeks it could not go well if you and your best friends are In a group and you guys get in a fight then you won’t want to talk to each other but you have to. Use your time wisely also, try and find interviews quickly because you don’t want to have no interview information in you research because the experts information is better then information you find online.
the “animal therapy was my favourite” connected to my group positively beacause my group is animal therapy and I thought it was cool how someone said that my group was their favourite
Explain who you interviewed and why you chose them? Me and my partner interviewed Mr.fenton from the high school because he has an equine therapy program, We also interviewed Steven King from Chestermere therapy dogs.
What was it like interviewing people. It was fun because we got to find out a lot of information and we got to meet new people.
What was challenging about it? Getting an actual interview was the hardest because not all the peo0le that we sent emails too got back to is so we only got 2 but it still worked out.
Why is it important to interview people? It is important because it solves a lot of your research questions and so you can get information that you know is real and not fake
What did you gain from interviewing people? I learned how to talk to people when doing a interview and how to talk professionally also how to shake hands with people
I am proud of me and my partner because when we got off track we caught back up. When we couldn’t think of an artistic piece we thought of 2-3 little artistic pieces.
Give an update: what are your plans for action? what are your plans for showcasing your work?
for my action me and my partner are donating dog stuff like shampoo, dog food, collers, leashes and stuff like that to a dog shelter
We where going to make it be really colourful and we will have a puppy dog or bunny or something like that
What has been the biggest struggle so far in Exhibition? How did you overcome it? What skills/attritubes/attidudes did you use?
the biggest struggle was the research but how i overcame it was doing Interviews and going on mrs.hoopers websites
What did you find out about yourself during Exhibition?
i found out that I can work with others and work with people that I don’t usually work with
Why should people come see your Exhibition?
they should come and see my stand because it is going to be really colourful and we will have a puppy
How would you describe Exhibition?
I would describe exhibition as sort of hard at times but sometimes it’s easy when all your group members cooperate
What does the Exhibition provide us?
Exhibition provides us research skills and it teaches us how to work with people that we don’t know that well and work with people
What is something that people might not know about exhibition?
People might not know that the 10 weeks go by fast and you shouldn’t fool around just it case you don’t Finnish and you shouldn’t pick the same topic as your best friend or you might get in a fight and ruin your hole project
