Internet Safety Presentation

East Lake School students in Grades 6 to 9 participated in a presentation delivered by Telus Wise. Our students were engaged in the rather informative advice and stories. East Lake School would like to thank Ms. Bain for her efforts in making this happen.

Some knowledge students gained today:

  • How internet activty affects scholarships
  • What is a digital footprint
  • How to safely navigate social media
  • Think before you post

 

There will be a parents presentation on Apr 27 @ 6:30pm in the Learning Commons.

Robotics in the LC

East Lake School was given an amazing opportunity to borrow the robotics kit from the Rockyview’s head office. Our Kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2 students had a chance to code their robot to work for them.
