We are starting to wrap-up our Evidence unit! We have a couple more types to examine before we move onto our next unit. Students are applying their knowledge thus far to a forensic science novel study. We are reading the book Framed which is about a Forensic Investigator that has been framed for a murder. He has to prove his innocence by finding the real killer! We are mapping out the evidence and are trying to solve the case alongside Luke.

Last week we had the wonderful experience of participating in the Blanket Exercise. Students learned valuable information in a unique way! To continue our work of reconciliation and learning about Indigenous culture, WG Murdoch will have an elder from the Blackfoot Confederacy joining us once a month. Stay tuned for more information!

We are in the process of wrapping up our first unit.

Unit tests will be on:

A study guide will be distributed later this week and sample questions will be practiced during class.

This week in Outdoor Ed, we are continuing to look at hiking safety and outdoor skills. On Wednesday, students will be going to Big Hill Springs for a field trip. Field trip forms must be returned prior to Wednesday for students to be able to attend.
