Canadian Troops

Posted by: | March 12, 2014 | 22 Comments |

This morning we found out that our Canadian troops are being withdrawn from Afghanistan and will be home by the end of the week. We are flying our flag at half mast and have participated in one minute of silence to remember those who have lost their lives whilst helping the Afghani people to rebuild.

Wouldn’t it be said if someone came to your door and said your mom or dad is dead?

It must have been hard to rebuild when war is going on but let’s take a moment to remember those who have lost their lives and remember that nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself.

I am glad that our troops are back because if all our troops are dead and another war came Canada would lose.
