During the tour, the learning design team will visit a variety of innovative school spaces and programs. By exploring different school designs, we will become inspired to change our environments to better serve the needs of learnings.

Firsthand exploration of design thinking processes and protocols.

Develop professional competencies that are sought after by school jurisdictions in Alberta.

8:30am Leave RVS Education Centre
– travel to Ponoka Elementary School

10:00am Ponoka Elementary School Tour

11:00am Walk and talk protocol to Ponoka Secondary School

11:15am Ponoka Secondary School 

12:15pm Leave Ponoka, drive to Aspen Heights School in Red Deer
– snack lunch en route to Red Deer 🙁

1:00pm Micro Society Market Day Tour

3:00pm Debrief tour day

6:00pm Return to Airdire
