Big Ideas

There are essential conditions for learning and innovation in RVS. We can use these LEARN principles to reflect on the design of learning throughout the division for all stakeholders.

Human-centered design is all about building a deep empathy with the people you’re designing for; generating tons of ideas; building a bunch of prototypes; sharing what you’ve made with the people you’re designing for; and eventually putting your innovative new solution out in the world.

Driving Questions

How might we enhance our current and future practices as designers of powerful learning opportunities for students?

What does the LEARN survey data tell us? What surprises us? What rings true? How might we use this data to better meet the needs in RVS?

How else might we learn more about the essential conditions and gain empathy for our administrators and teachers when designing branch initiatives and PL opportunities?
